Pete is a freelance self-employed personal trainer working in the West Midlands area. Based at a local gym, he works with a diverse cross-section of the population to deliver bespoke exercise and nutrition programmes. Pete places emphasis on the importance of developing strong functional movements which, in a sporting context, translate into enhanced performance.
 
Awarded 'Best Overall Achievement' by the Institute for Engineering & Technology for his Sports Technology BSc dissertation on gym equipment design from Staffordshire University, Pete is experimentative with his training methods, combining bodyweight exercise with the use of resistance equipment to maximise results.
 
Pete hopes to use his knowledge and experience to train the bodies and minds of the swimmers at the Royal School, educating on strength, posture and core stability in his land based training sessions.
